Ministers have blown almost £500,000 of taxpayers’ cash - sending a lorry around Britain to encourage firms to export.
Kevin Brennan, Labour’s Shadow Minister for Trade and Investment, slammed the costly vanity project.
He said: “With the Tories set to miss their own export target by a whopping £350 billion they need more than a painted lorry to get Britain’s export show on the road.
“The government urgently needs to develop a serious and long-term strategy for our exporters.
“The scale of the challenge for our world leading businesses is huge but they are being badly let down by a government obsessed by spin not real economic achievement.”
